Antonio Gagliano violin
Yet another luthier from the highly regarded and notable Gagliano family, Antonio Gagliano was the third born son of prominent violin maker, Nicolas Gagliano. Many of Antonio’s instruments were made with his brother, Giuseppe, and would often have a distinctive scroll that was later copied by many other makers in Naples. The overall style of their instruments has obvious Gagliano characteristics that would have been influenced by their father and are recognised worldwide.
