Violins by W E Hill & Sons
Highly acclaimed for their exceptional skill in restoration and craftsmanship, the work of W.E Hill & Sons is recognised internationally and is highly sought-after. After establishing his workshop in London in 1880, William Ebsworth Hill (with the help of his four sons) established a reputation for exceptional bow and violin making. They pioneered many new techniques, made world-class instruments and bows, produced brilliant copies (many of Stradivari and Guarneri), and became widely known for their expertise.
