Niall Flemming
Niall was born in Australia in 1987 and started to be interested in making violins at the age of 16. After completing the violin-making course in Newark, Nottinghamshire, UK in 2010, Niall joined Maison Bernard in Brussels serving an apprenticeship with Pierre Guillaume to train as a bow maker. He then worked with the renowned bow maker Noel Burke and has opened a workshop in Kilkenny city, Ireland.
In 2018 Niall received two certificates of merit for craftsmanship for Violin and Cello from the Violin Society of America. He takes a lot of inspiration from the work of Étienne Pajeot one of the great French makers of the early 19th Century.
