David Rattray
Based in Kirkcaldy, Fife in Scotland, David Rattray is a maker and restorer of violins, violas and cellos. His instruments are handcrafted in the classical Italian tradition, made to a modern and period set-up, and played by some of the world’s top musicians. A specialist expert in fine old instruments, David celebrated 25 years as Instrument Curator at the Royal Academy of Music in 2012.
