A violin by Romeo Antoniazzi, Milan, 1923

Romeo Antoniazzi 1862-1925. Son of the maker Gaetano and younger brother to Riccardo, Romeo also worked for the firms Monzino and Bisiach in Milan. His labels say Cremona but he worked always in Milan. This fine example is his last period, made in 1922.

“I love the Antoniazzi family. This is a late example but look at that back! Wow!!” Sean Bishop – Director
