Melvin’s instruments are exact copies fully antiqued and we regard him as one of the finest living makers in the world today. He is not taking orders anymore as he has a lifetime list already! So this is the chance to get one.
Sean Bishop “Melvin is a great guy who makes great instruments. simple. This violin is based on the Ex 1785 “Wilhelmj” G.B. Guadagnini owned by Jack Liebeck. The copy uses wood from 1770 and the pegs are JB Vuillaume…3 are…one is Goldsmith! Anyway, big tone, open and pure”
