Try Fine Bows From Home With Our New Delivery Service
In the past 20 years, Sean has bought and sold over a thousand bows. Bows are his passion. Bishops Instruments & Bows are now offering a free 2-week trial for you to test out a variety of bows at home before you commit to buying. You can choose up to five bows to suit your budget, which will be carefully delivered to you at home so that you can keep them to try for 2 weeks. Our bows can be shipped across the UK by local courier or internationally with FedEx. This service is available to you entirely for free, with no obligations.
One of the largest and finest selection of bows in Europe
We are proud to be home to the largest collection of cello, viola and violin bows in Europe. Our collection contains bows from contemporary makers with prices ranging between £1500 and £14,000. We also have antique bows with a price range of between £2000 and £70,000. The collection includes bows from some of the finest makers, including Hill, Tubbs, Sarort, Fetique and Pecatte, to name a few.
Ordering your trial bows
If you’re interested in our bow service, you can order your selection of trial bows by emailing sean@bishopstrings.com. Let us know which type you are after, your preferred makers and your budget and Sean will hand select up to 5 bows to suit your criteria. These will then be shipped door to door, fully insured and free of charge, for you to trial for up to two weeks. When you are ready to return the bows, simply contact us to arrange collection.
