Violin bow by W.E.Hill & Sons, Silver and Tortoiseshell made 1927 by Albert Leeson.(1903-1946)
Leeson bows are amongst the best made for Hills, having been an apprentice aged 16 with the firm.
He worked from 1920-1946 for the company , sadly dying young in a road traffic accident.
Very fine example in excellent condition. 56 grams, with original whalebone lapping (Light) but the stick is strong and feels well balanced.
