Born in Mirecourt into a family of archetiers, he trained in the renowned workshops of Cuniot-Hury before working for prestigious Parisian firms, including that of Caressa & Français. In 1913 he established his own workshop in Paris, where he produced bows of exceptional refinement and individuality.

Fétique’s work reflects the strong influence of the Peccatte tradition, particularly in the firmness of the stick and the elegance of the head. His bows are typically crafted from fine pernambuco and are admired for their supple yet controlled playing qualities.
