Stefano Scarampella (1843-1925) was very prolific and successful maker whom followed various classical models, and most of his work are muscular interpretations of Stradivari and the Mantuan maker Balestrieri. They seem to be completely a “look back in time violin!” Nothing modern about these. This is a maker I just love. Power, Finesse and style. This violin has it. D.Gindin certificate.
