A violin by Pio Montanari, Genoa, 2016

Pio Montanari was born in 1956, Pio Montanari received a university degree in architecture and subsequently obtained the diploma at the International School of Violin Making in Cremona.
He has been a collaborator of the City of Genoa since 1995 for the preservation of the two historical violins that the city owns: the “Cannone”, belonging to Niccolò Paganini, and the copy of this instrument, the “Sivori” violin.
