A violin by Piero Parravicini, Milan 1922
Price range: £50,000+
This violin was made in Milan, 1922 and very much on the form of Antoniazzi. He is a maker I have only recently been introduced to and when I saw this violin I had to have it! I also now own 2 violas. Very fine workmanship. Eric Blot certificate.

MAKER INFORMATION
Piero Parravicini b1889 d1957 Milan. Parravicini was a pupil of the Antoniazzi family, and indeed some of their instruments are clearly made by him! He worked for Monzino 1924-25, many medals at international competitions and his work is rare to see, although he made a large number! and extremely fine.
I love the Milan school of makers, 1890- 1930 and this violin is a typical example why! I just love the edgework ! colour and of course the tone!
