Known as Hill & Sons, this London based firm can be regarded as the finest violin shop incorporating both bow making and violin making of the 20th century. High end quality violins were made from 1880-1930, generally making copies of Stradivari and Guarneri instruments that passed through the shop. This violin made in 1910 is a Stradivari copy in almost mint condition.
‘This is an extremely fine Hill & Sons strad. copy, and we are delighted to be selling this on behalf of one of the UK’s leading Concertmasters’ – Sean Bishop
