1880-1992 London. Known as Hill & Sons, this London based firm can be regarded as the finest violin shop incorporating both bow making and violin making of the 20th century. High end quality violins were made from 1880-1930, generally making copies of Stradivari and Guarneri instruments that passed through the shop. This violin made in 1912 is a workshop quality violin, in excellent condition.
