A violin by Giuseppe Marconcini, Ferrara 1816
Giuseppe Marconcini, b1774 d1841. Marconcini studied violin making with his father, Luigi Alosio Marconcini in Ferrara, Italy. His instruments are usually on the Amati style model, with elegant long corners. This example made in 1816 is in unusually fine condition for a 200 year old violin. Eric Blot certificate.
