Pistucci is an important maker of the 20th cent Neapolitan School. A student of Postiglione and active from 1885. Fine quality work and he often modelled his instruments on previous Neapolitan makers such as the Gaglianos using reproduction labels.

“On this page you will find 3 violins by Giovanni Pistucci. I love them! This violin was made in Naples in 1907. Its labelled Gagliano like most but we found he had dated it under the top block. A nice find. The violin is in good condition.” Sean Bishop – Director
