Celestino Farotti 1905-1988, Milan. Celestino was the pupil and assistant of his Uncle Celeste Farotti!  He generally did fine models and copies of Stradivari, Rocca, and Pressenda. A prolific maker he is well known for his fine violas. This viola is no exception. Labelled Romeo Antoniazzi it is a fine sounding example in Mint condition. This viola was featured by D.Gindin in his article on the Farotti makers. Size is 42.2cm, but quite easy to play.
