MAKER INFORMATION
Michel Eggimann was one of the first makers in Italy doing “antique” style varnish. After violin making in his native Switzerland, he graduatedfrom the Cremona School of violin making and has been in Italy ever since. Now based in Rome, his instruments are inspired by the greats.
Michel Eggiman was one of the first makers in Italy to start giving his varnish the Antique style. This viola is a great example and is one of the best sounding violas we have. I love playing it!
