A cello by Enrico Melegari, Turin, 1887

Enrico Clodoveo Melegari 1835-1895 Turin. Melegari was established in Turin with his brother Pietro, known as Fratelli Melegari. Typical red brown varnish on a similar model to Antonio Guadagnini of the same period. This cello , made in 1887 is a fine example in excellent condition. D.Gindin certificate.
