Very fine golden period Stradivari model. Easy to play…and easy on the eye. I found this violin at the last Modomusica exhibition in Cremona…I had already bought 10 + instruments and wasn’t wanting any more….but then I saw and played this. It had to be number 11.

Michele Buccellé was born in Cremona the 23rd of July 1981. He studied at the International School of violin making in Cremona and he graduated in 2000 led by Masters Massimo Negroni and Wanna Zambelli.
From 2001 until 2010 he worked in Maestro Maurizio Tadioli workshop where he perfected his manual skills and his style.
He takes instruments by Stradivari, Guarneri del Gesù, Ornati, Garimberti and Poggi as models.
His instruments are appreciated both by well-known Italian and foreign performers (Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, Malaysian Philarmonic Orchestra, …) and by young international talented musicians.
In 2009, at the XII International “Triennale” Competition of violin making, he was awarded the Sabino Preti prize, as young violin maker from Cremona with the highest score.
