A violin by Giuseppe Castagnino, Chiavari 1936

Price range: £25,000 - £50,000

This is just great Italian violin making. Castagnino trained with the best, but didn’t carry on their style…he made his own. This violin was owned by a top London player, and features on many recordings. The price isn’t half bad also!
