A violin by Arnaldo Morano, Turin 1944

1911-2007  Arnaldo Morano was born in Turin and is a maker that can be regarded as one of the fine 1940-1970 period of makers that included Capicchioni, Ornati and Garimberti. Due to his work in restoration his instruments are rare and this is the first example we have had in the shop.

Morano won a gold medal for his violin making in Cremona 1949.

Really fine example, easy to play and a very open sound. Blot certifictae.
