Douglas MacArthur

Douglas MacArthur set up his own workshop in Scotland after graduating from the renowned Newark School of Violin Making.

He focuses mainly on violins and violas, but also collaborates with his partner and fellow maker Marion Bernnardo on cellos.

Based on the classical 16th, 17th and 18th century models, his violins and violas also incorporate modern features to match the tonal and aesthetic requirements of today’s musicians.
